It is appropriate
for use as a textbook for a second, third or fourth course in computer
science: after students have acquired some programming skills and familiarity
with computer systems, but before they have specialized courses in advanced
areas of computer science or computer applications. Additionally, the book
may be useful as a reference for those who already have some familiarity with
the material, since it contains a number of computer implementations of useful
algorithms.

The book consists of forty chapters which are grouped into seven major
parts: mathematical algorithms, sorting, searching, string processing, geometric
algorithms, graph algorithms and advanced topics. A major goal in the
development of this book has been to bring together the fundamental methods
from these diverse areas, in order to provide access to the best methods
that we know for solving problems by computer for as many people as possible.
The treatment of sorting, searching and string processing (which may
not be covered in other courses) is somewhat more complete than the treatment
of mathematical algorithms (which may be covered in more depth in
applied mathematics or engineering courses), or geometric and graph algorithms
(which may be covered in more depth in advanced computer science
courses). Some of the chapters involve introductory treatment of advanced
material. It is hoped that the descriptions here can provide students with
some understanding of the basic properties of fundamental algorithms such
as the FFT or the simplex method, while at the same time preparing them
to better appreciate the methods when they learn them in advanced courses.

The orientation of the book is towards algorithms that are likely to be
of practical use. The emphasis is on teaching students the tools of their
trade to the point that they can confidently implement, run and debug useful
algorithms. Full implementations of the methods discussed (in an actual
programming language) are included in the text, along with descriptions of
the operations of these programs on a consistent set of examples. Though not
emphasized, connections to theoretical computer science and the analysis of
algorithms are not ignored. When appropriate, analytic results are discussed
to illustrate why certain algorithms are preferred. When interesting, the
relationship of the practical algorithms being discussed to purely theoretical
results is described. More information of the orientation and coverage of the
material in the book may be found in the Introduction which follows.

Download size: 4 MB

http://rapidshare.com/files/179939046/Addison_Wesley_-_Algorithms.rar

Password fileresources.blogspot.com
The-men-in-the-middlehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17543371406523792367noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7488559040003120891.post-25196272896266055982008-12-19T20:41:00.000-08:002008-12-19T20:54:58.144-08:00Microsoft Expression Encoder v2.0 Full Version
Microsoft Expression Encoder 2 Features

Fastest Path to Silverlight

With more than a dozen built in Silverlight media player templates, Expression Encoder offers the fastest way to publish media assets to the web in a Silverlight experience. Let us explain to you what moved us to write another publication about the TCP/IP protocols on which the Internet is based.

Publications about the Internet are usually of two types:

Publications involved with concrete operating systems (Microsoft Windows, UNIX, CISCO, etc.). The goal of such publications is to train readers in a particular TCP/IP implementation, while describing the main TCP/IP principles is only their secondary goal.

Publications written for the academic environment. Even if their main goal is to describe the basic TCP/IP principles, they could be too tedious for many readers.

So we faced the task of creating a basic TCP/IP guide, independent from any concrete environment (for example, Microsoft Windows, UNIX, CISCO, etc.), emphasizing presentation of the text in a clear and apt form to readers so that they understand the main coherences. To explain the basic principles and coherences in the best way, we have used a lot of illustrations. These illustrations were not created by chance. We drew and constantly refined them according to the requirements from our countless TCP/IP courses. First we chalked them on a blackboard, next we drew them on a white blackboard, and finally we drew them in Microsoft Visio. It has been twenty years since we started teaching TCP/IP.

If you say to yourself that you will not pay for this book and will study TCP/IP directly from the Internet RFC standards, you have unknowingly found the next goal of this publication. Exploring the huge number of RFC standards takes a lot of time, and moreover their study is very difficult for a beginner. (The idea of someone reading international standards as a novel in his or her bed before sleep is funny.) So another goal of this publication is to equip readers with such knowledge that they would be able to study RFC by themselves after reading this book.

Download size: 10 MB

http://rapidshare.com/files/170064651/understand_IP.rar

Password fileresources.blogspot.com

The-men-in-the-middlehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17543371406523792367noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7488559040003120891.post-41738279454232857332008-12-02T22:01:00.001-08:002008-12-19T20:22:56.357-08:00E-book: Hacking: The Art of Exploitation, 2nd Edition
by Jon Erickson

Hacking is the art of creative problem solving, whether that means finding an unconventional solution to a difficult problem or exploiting holes in sloppy programming. Using Visual Basic, you can develop simple utilities or sophisticated applications. Data access features allow you to create databases, front-end applications, and scalable server-side components for most popular database formats. ActiveX® technologies allow you to use the functionality provided by other applications, and even automate applications and objects created using the Professional or Enterprise editions of Visual Basic. Internet capabilities make it easy to provide access to documents and applications across the Internet or intranet from within your application, or to create Internet server applications.

Visual Basic Enterprise Edition Features

The Visual Basic Enterprise Edition contains all of the features included with the Visual Basic Professional Edition and the Visual Basic Learning Edition. In addition, it contains the following features, available in the Enterprise Edition only. For more information about other editions of Visual Basic, see Visual Basic Editions.

Note These features are also part of the Visual Studio Enterprise Edition, which contains the of Microsoft enterprise development tools.

This tool enables you to test the run-time performance and resource load characteristics of various enterprise application design scenarios you are considering.

Internet Information Services are a platform for a new generation of World Wide Web applications that must interact with other BackOffice components and applications.

Microsoft Transaction Server (MTS) is a component-based transaction processing system for developing, deploying, and managing high-performance, scalable, and robust enterprise, Internet, and intranet server applications.

RemoteData Control

The Remote Data control implements data access by using RDO, the Microsoft Remote Data Objects.

SQL Debugging

The T-SQL debugger allows you to interactively debug remote stored procedures written in Microsoft SQL Server's Transact SQL dialect, from within the Visual Basic development environment.

The Microsoft SQL Server Programmer's Toolkit covers Transact-SQL, programming ODBC for SQL, and much more.

Stored Procedure Editor

The SQL Editor allows you to create and edit stored procedures and triggers in both SQL Server and Oracle from within the Visual Basic development environment.

UserConnection Designer

This ActiveX designer provides design-time support for programmatic data access. This tool has been superseded in this version of Visual Basic by the Data Environment designer, listed above.

This tool stores, organizes, and shares reusable components. It can contain wizards, ActiveX components, Database Connection objects, and many other components used in Visual Basic projects. It is suited to enterprise-wide component cataloguing and reuse because it is based on the open and scalable Microsoft Repository.

Visual Database Tools Integration (Query Designer and Database Designer)

With these designers you can visually create and modify database schemas and queries: Create SQL Server and Oracle database tables, drag and drop to create views, and automatically change column data types.

This source-control tool tracks changes to files and stores the changes so that files, for example code modules, can be easily and economically reused.

Download size: 187 MB

http://rapidshare.com/files/165662110/VBE600ENU1.part1.rar
http://rapidshare.com/files/165698194/VBE600ENU1.part2.rar

Password www.dl4all.com

The-men-in-the-middlehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17543371406523792367noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7488559040003120891.post-27579692879709500152008-11-18T04:26:00.000-08:002008-12-19T20:14:06.248-08:00Adobe Photoshop PluginAdobe Photoshop Plugin:
1.
